I don’t think a Pokemon game will ever beat the post-game content from Gen II and I think that’s what will cement it as the best Pokemon game for me for a while
Beating the game only to realize you’re only halfway done is such an amazing feeling and they did such a good job of making Kanto feel fresh upon revisiting it, especially considering G/S only came out a couple of years after R/B
